DHAKA: Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami lawyers held a meeting with visiting US envoy for war crime affairs Stephen J Rapp on Monday.

Sources told banglanews that their meeting started around 7:45pm at a city hotel.

Khandaker Mahbub Hossain, Advocate Tajul Islam, Tanvir Alam Amin, Barrister Matiur Rahman, Advocate Arman Ali, Ehsan A Siddiqui, Najib Momen, Shishir Mohammad Monir and Barrister Mir Ahmed Bin Kashem were among others present.

Stephen J Rapp, the United States Ambassador-at-Large for War Crime Affairs in the Office of Global Criminal Justice arrived in city on a 3-day official visit.

He came in Bangladesh for the fifth time.
