DHAKA: Jatiya Party will form human chain in protest against the indiscriminate killing of innocent Palestinians after Israel conducted air and ground strikes on Gaza strip.

The human chain will be held in front of the National Press Club at 11:00am on Wednesday.

Secretary General of the party Ziauddin Bablu announced the protest program while addressing an extended meeting of the party at its Banani office on Tuesday noon.

He said though BNP-Jamaat claimed themselves as Islamic party, but, they didn’t protest the attack on Palestine.

“Jatiya Party can’t stay silent and we will protest the barbaric attack. His party will protest each and every event where there is an atrocity.”

JP leaders Saidur Rahman, Sunil Shuvo Roy, Meher Abdur Sabur Asad, Kalimullah, Habibullah Belali, Alamgir Sikdar Lotan, Rezaul Islam Bhuiyan, Nurul Islam Nuru, Nazma Akhter and Mobarak Hossain Azad were among others present at the meeting.
