DHAKA: BNP standing committee member and also BNP Dhaka Metropolitan convener Mirza Abbas has been exempted from cocktail blast case filed under explosive act.

Dhaka additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Mohammad Alamgir Kabir passed the order discharging Miza Abbas on Sunday.

Besides, the court framed charges against 19 other accused on the case.

The case against Mirza Abbas and others was filed with Motijheel Thana on June 27 in 2013.
