Zero tolerance to violence

DHAKA: Health Minister, also Awami League presidium member, Mohammed Nasim on Sunday said no bar would be put to the BNP’s peaceful movement but zero tolerance would be shown, if any disorder appears.

The lawmaker came up with the remarks while addressing a condolence meeting organized b Ulama League on Bangabandhu Avenue in the city.

Indicating to BNP, he said, “Hasina is a perfect player. She knows well when to play and when to score a goal. The more you (BNP) will play the more Awami League will play.”

Referring BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia, Nasim said, “You have been defeated to Awami League’s strategy. You should organize your team, and prepare for the next game. We are ready for the 2019 elections; you should also take preparation too.”

Presided over by Ulama League president Ilias Hussain bin Helali, AL office secretary Dr Abdus Sobhan Golap, Dhaka City AL organizing secretary Shahe Alam Murad and office secretary Shaidul Islam Milon, among others, spoke.
