DHAKA: Police arrested two Jamaat-e-Islami activists from a protest possession at Nabisko in Tejgaon Industrial area of the capital on Monday morning.

Acting Secretary General Shafiqur Rahman of Jamaat-e-Islami on Sunday, in a statement, called countrywide demonstration for Monday protesting Israeli attack and mass killing in Gaza strip.

Though, Tejgaon police did not confirm the detention.
