FROM NAYAPALTAN: The black-flag procession of BNP-led 20-party began in front of the Nayapaltan central office of the party in protest of mass killing by Israel in Gaza.

BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir is leading the procession that started around 3:35pm.

BNP standing committee members Tariqul Islam, Nazrul Islam Khan, Dhaka Metropolitan BNP convener Mirza Abbas, BNP chairperson’s adviser Shamsuzzaman Dudu, Enam Ahmed Chowdhury, Abdul Awal Mintoo, vice-chairman of the party Abdullah Al Noman, education affairs secretary Khairul Kabir Khokon, former member secretary of metropolitan BNP Abdus Salam, current member secretary Habib Un Nabi Khan Sohel and secretary general of Kazi Zafar Ahmed-led Jatiya Party Mustafa Zaman Haider among others joined the procession.

The procession will end at Malibagh.
