DHAKA: BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia has greeted Hindu community on the occasion of Janmastami (birth day of Lord Sri Krishna), one of the biggest religious festival.

In a special message the former premier greeted them on Saturday.

In the message, she said, “I greet all the Hindu people and welcome on the holy day. I wish them peace, happiness and prosperity.”

Khaleda Zia also urged to all to keep communal harmony among the people of the country.

However, BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir also greeted the Hindus on this occasion through a separate message.
