Dhaka: BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir categorically said that Awami league did not cooperate during the investigation of August 21st grenade attack.

He came up with the allegation in a press briefing at party’s central office at Nayapaltan in the capital on Sunday morning.

Mirza Fakhrul said, “We can’t allow if the attack is being used politically and being motivated.”

He also criticized and condemned to the speeches regarding the grenade attack entangling BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia and Tarrique Rahman.

Demanding the trail of real culprits, he said “None should be harassed politically.”
