JESSORE: Miscreants strangled a BNP activist to death in Ghop Central Road Bi-lane area of the district town on Tuesday.

The deceased was identified as Abdul Hye, 32, a local BNP activist, son of Abul Hossain of the area.

Jessore Kotwali Thana Officer-In-Charge Inamul Haque told banglanews, “Being informed by the locals, police recovered the body from the area.”

The body was sent to Jessore Medical COllge Hospital for autopsy

Police suspected, “The body might have been keep there after killing.”

Police could not disclose whoever the killers were and whatever the motives were behind the killing.
