LAXMIPUR: Police filed a case against over 200 leaders and activists of Jamaat-e-Islam of Kamalnagar upazila unit of the district on Thursday.

They were accused in vandalism, blocking roads and deter the law enforcers from discharging government duties.

Earlier, Sub-Inspector Mostafa Kamal of Kamalnagar Thana filed the case at noon mentioning names of 21 people and other 200 unnamed people.

The law enforcers also arrested four people in this connection.

Officer-In-Charge of the thana Humayan Kabir confirmed the matter to banglanews.
