RAJSHAHI UNIVERSITY (RU): Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) central committee suspended Tawhid-al-Tuhin, general secretary of BCL Rajshahi University unit, for his controversial deeds. 

Central BCL general secretary Shiddique Nazmul Alam confirmed the matter to banglanews on Friday afternoon saying “Tuhin has been suspended for violating rules and RU BCL joint general secretary Khalid Hossain Biplob was replaced as acting general secretary.”

Biplob is a student of management department.

Earlier on Thursday, the BCL led by Tuhin of RU unit beat the acting chief engineer of RU Sirajum Munir over extortion. 

Tuhin was also accused in many misdeeds in the university.

Biplob said central BCL president handed over the responsibility over the phone.
