DHAKA: Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed on Tuesday said conspiracy is underway inside and outside of his party.

The BNP leader was addressing a discussion meeting followed by a documentary screening titled ‘Firoza Begum: A Name of A Legend’ organized by Jatiyatabadi Samajik Sangskritik Sangstha (JASAS) at the National Press Club in city.
 
Rizvi alleged that the Awami League (AL) government is trying to destroy the nationalist power in the country by their agents.

Conspiracy to wipe out BNP is also underway inside and outside of the AL, he added.

The spokesperson for the party urged the Jasas artistes to be united in the movements of bringing the democracy back.

BNP standing committee member MK Anwar and Jasas secretary Monir Khan spoke at the function chaired by Jasas executive committee president MA Malek.
