DHAKA: A group of post-deprived Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) leaders and activists chased BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir at the party’s central office in city.
The group led by former JCD organizing secretary Anisur Rahman Talukdar Khokon chased the senior BNP leader at 1:15pm on Saturday.
Other BNP leaders saved Fakhrul from the agitated JCD leaders and activists.
However, the post-deprived JCD leaders and activists have been arranging demonstrations since after the declaration of the new committee for JCD.
