DHAKA: Disaster Management and Relief Affairs Minister Mofazzal Hossain Chowdhury Maya on Saturday categorically said that conspiracy against the Bangabandhu family is still going on.

“The followers of the killers of Bangabandhu and his family members are still conspiring against his daughter Sheikh Hasina,” he said.

The minister came up with the assertion while addressing a program at Jatiya Krira Parishad auditorium in city.

He also observed that the conspirators attacked Sheikh Hasina some 19 times.

Jatiya Shishu Kishore Parishad organized the program on the occasion of the Sheikh 50th birth anniversary.

The ruling Awami League lawmaker also told his audience that it was inhuman to kill the minor boy Russel on political issue.

He added: “Sheikh Russel, the youngest son of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, didn’t know anything nor even understand what politics is.”

The minister also urged people to become aware about the conspirators.

With Jatiya Shishu Kishore Parishad secretary general Mahamud-us-Samad in the chair, the function was also addressed, among others, by Sirajul Islam Mollah, KM Shahid Ullah and Mojibur Rahman Hawlader.
