DHAKA: Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Chairperson Khaleda Zia left Dhaka for Nilphamari on Wednesday.

She started his journey from her Gulshan residence around 4:20pm.

The BNP chief is scheduled to address a rally in Nilphamari organized by 20-party alliance.

BNP chairperson’s political office sources said she would hold night at Bogra Circuit House and will resume her journey for Nilphamari around 11:00am Thursday.

Later, Khaleda Zia will join the rally at 4:00pm which will be presided over by district BNP convener Advocate Anisul Arefin Chowdhury.

She will leave Nilphamari for Dhaka on the evening. Though, she will take a break at night in Tangail’s Jamuna Resort on the way. 

BNP vice chairman Selima Rahman is accompanying Khaleda Zia and BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir already left for the rally.
