DHAKA: BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir alleged that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina telling lies against BNP Senior vice Chairman Tarique Rahman. 

The senior BNP leader condemned and protested the PM’s remarks, what he said lies, in a press briefing at BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia’s Gulshan Political office on Friday afternoon.

The briefing was organized in response to PM Sheikh Hasina’s Thursday’s press conference, held at Gano Bhaban.

Miza Fakhrul said: “Tarique’s name was included in August 21 grenade attack being politically motivated and it is a part of Sheikha Hasina’s interference in the under trial case.”

The leader also alleged that Sheikh Hasina’s goons murdered 310 and kidnapped 65 BNP leaders and activists.

He also warned that Sheikh Hasina will have to take the liability of the killings and face the trial at mass people.
