DHAKA: Miscreants blasted a cocktail again in front of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Nayapaltan Central Office at 8:00am Monday. No one was reportedly hurt.

Tension mounting in the area from last night after it was heard that post-deprived leaders and activists would occupy Chhatra Dal office Monday.   

Sub-Inspector of Paltan Model Thana Monsur said, “Miscreants are trying to create panic blasting cocktails, but police is on alert position and will avert any untoward situation.”

A patrol team of police rushed to the spot soon after the blast, but could not detain anyone, he added.

Earlier on Sunday night, two cocktails were blasted in the area around 10:00pm Sunday which injured two persons.
