SATKHIRA: Law enforcers, in special drives early Tuesday, arrested 22 leaders and activists of BNP, Jamaat-e-Islami and Chhatra Shibir in cases of sabotage and violence in the district.

Of the arrested, Akhtaruzzaman, Jamaat secretary of Bhurulia union unit in Shyamnagar upazila, Shahiduzzaman, president of Khanpur union Jamaat, Patkelghata Thana Juba Dal secretary Awal Uddin Morol were included.

Information Officer of Satkhira District Police Sub-Inspector Kamal Hossain confirmed the matter to banglanews.
