BARISAL: Law enforcers on Tuesday night detained four local Jamaat leaders and activists including Babuganj upazila Ameer on allegation of planning sabotage during the third day of countrywide hartal.

The detainees are- Babuganj upazila Ameer Maulana Ruhul Amin, acting Ameer of Agarpur union Amir Harun Farazi, secretary Jamal Uddin Sikder and member Joinal Abedin were held from a mosque in Agarpur union.

Sub-Inspector (Investigation) of Babuganj Thana Asaduzzaman Asad confirmed the matter to banglanews.
