DHAKA: The fourth session of the 10th parliament will sit on Thursday.

On October 28, President M Abdul Hamid called the fourth session as per section 72 (1) of the constitution.

The 10th Parliament came into being after the January 5 general elections. The lawmakers sworn in on January 13.

After a day of taking oath, the Awami League (AL) government formed the cabinet and the first session of the parliament began on January 29.

The last session of the Parliament was completed on September 18.
