DHAKA: The senior leaders of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) met the high commissioners and ambassadors of French, Turkey, Switzerland, China and Singapore.

They also met the high rank diplomats of the United Kingdom (UK), the United States (US), Russia, Nepal, Japan, Vietnam, Spain, Sweden, Canada, Saudi Arab, South Korea, Denmark, Netherland, Norway and European Union.

The meeting starts from 4:00pm and continued for long time at a hotel in city’s Gulshan area, sources confirmed banglanews.

BNP vice chairman Shamsher Mabin Chowdhury organized the meeting where acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, standing committee member Lt Gen (retd) Mahbubur Rahman, BNP chairperson’s advisor Abdul Awal Mintoo, Riaz Rahman, Sabihuddin Ahmed were among others present.

However, the BNP senior leader also met the diplomats before and after January 5 national elections.
