SYLHET: An organization named ‘Amra Sylhetbasi’ called daylong hartal for Monday protesting the inclusion of Sylhet City Corporation Mayor Ariful Haque in murder case charge-sheet of former finance minister Shah AMS Kibria.
The organization’s leader Abdur Razzaq called the hartal after a demonstration on Saturday.
They also brought out a procession supporting the hartal.
Earlier on Thursday, a charge-sheet was submitted against 35, including Ariful Haque in the murder case.
On the other hand, Sylhet district and metropolitan BNP will hold separate program in this regard.
