Court summons Tarique Tarique Rahman

DHAKA: A Dhaka court asked BNP senior vice chairman Tarique Rahman to appear before it in on December 10 a case filed against him for demeaning Father of the nation Bangabandhu.

Metropolitan Magistrate Rezaul Karim issued a summon notice after taking a case into cognizance Monday.

Monir Khan, deputy publicity secretary of Awami League central committee, filed the case in the morning. Lawyer of plaintiff Advocate Abdur Rahman confirmed the matter.
