DHAKA: US Assistant Secretary for South and Central Asian Affairs Nisha Desai Biswal will hold a meeting with BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia on Friday evening.
She will meet Khaleda Zia at her Gulshan political office at 6:00pm.
Khaleda’s Media Wing member Shairul Kabir Khan confirmed the matter to banglanews.
However, the US envoy is expected to arrive in Dhaka Thursday evening.
Moreover, she will pay the visit to Bangladesh as a part of her Asia and Europe tour.
She has started her journey from November 23 and will continue till December 5 to visit India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Uzbekistan and Switzerland.
