SAVAR (DHAKA): Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammed Nasim on Thursday termed BNP movements as tall-talks.
The minister came up with the assertion while talking to the media in a three-day 13th Annual Asian Spinal Cord Network (ASCoN) seminar at Savar BRAC CDM Centre.
Nasim commented BNP’s movements have become speech-based as people are not with the party as their demonstrations mean anarchy, vandalism and murder.
The ruling Awami League lawmaker also claimed that the incumbent government is not afraid of BNP movement.
However, a 58-member delegation from 18 countries participated in the conference to create awareness among the people suffering from spinal cord injuries.
Director General of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) Professor Dr Deen Muhammad Nurul Haque and Head of Delegation Cristina Chipla also spoke at the event.
Centre for the Rehabilitation of the Paralyzed (CRP) founder Valerie Taylor presided over the seminar.
