DHAKA: BNP Standing Committee Member Goyeshwar Chandra Roy was picked-up by a team of Detective Branch (DB) of police from city’s Siddheswari area Friday morning.

He was held around 6:45am and then the detained BNP leader has been taken to the DB police headquarters.

Earlier on Thursday night, the Detective Branch (DB) of Police raided his house but he was not at home.

However, the law enforcers also raided at the house of Shechhasebak Dal President Habib-un-Nabi Khan Sohel at same night.

BNP sources confirmed the matter to banglanews.
