Alal sent to jail after remand

DHAKA: A Dhaka court on Thursday sent Juba Dal president Moazzem Hossain Alal to jail after a five-day remand in two phases in a case over Bakshibazar clash.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Masud Ali Sheikh passed the order around 3:30pm.

The court also denied the bail plea sought by Advocate Sanaullah Miah on behalf of Alal.
