DHAKA: Ruling Awami League (AL) publicity and publication secretary Dr Hasan Mahmud commented that none but Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) chief Khaleda Zia had made herself ‘minus’ from politics.
He made the statement Saturday noon while addressing a discussion titled 'Propaganda-conspiracy could not interrupt the spirit of Liberation War’, organized by Bangabandhu Sangskritik Jote at Bir Uttam Khaza Nizamuddin Auditorium in city’s Segun Bagica area.
Hasan Mahmud claimed that BNP people have no confidence on their party chief Khaleda Zia’s seven-point demand.
Moreover, mentioning BNP stuck in quicksand, the AL leader added that mass people have also rejected Khaleda Zia for creating anarchy in the country.
Assistant secretary of AL central sub-committee Advocate Balaram Poddar and freedom fighter Abdul Hai Kanu, among others, also attend the discussion, chaired by Arun Sarker Rana.
