DHAKA: At least 11 trucks full of construction materials, including bricks, their chips and sand, have been placed in front of BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia’s Gulshan office in the capital early Monday.

Sources told banglanews that at first, there were only four trucks till 12:00am, but, later the number of trucks has been increased.

Among the trucks, four remained parked in front of the BNP chief’s political office and the rest seven are in different gateways of that area.

However, one of the trucks’ drivers, Bacchu, claimed that police forcefully brought them from road while carrying goods from Gabtoli of the city.

He has also alleged that all the trucks have been asked to stay there for next two days.

Nevertheless, no police member agreed to talk about this matter.

On the other hand, a huge number of law enforcers have been cordoning the BNP chairperson’s Gulshan office where she has been kept under high surveillance since Saturday midnight.
