DHAKA: Jatiya Party chairman HM Ershad has ruled out the matter of party’s decision to leave the cabinet.

He came up with the observation on Monday while asked about his reaction on Raushan Ershad’s announcement of leaving cabinet, which she declared earlier in the noon at a press conference.

HM Ershad said, “Party chairman is authorized to declare about resignation and presidium helps him to take the decision.”

However he said there was a talk in this regard at presidium meeting, but no final decision has been taken yet.

Later the former President said, “The news broadcasted in different TV is not the decision of party forum and neither has it reflected our discussion.”
