DHAKA: More than 60 more pro-BNP lawyers were sued for attacking on police and injuring police constable at High Court premises on Monday.

Confirming the matter to banglanews, Shahbagh Thana Officer-In-Charge (OC) Sirajul Islam told banglanews that police filed the lawsuit with the Thana on Tuesday morning.

Some 60 to 70 people were made accused and 15 were named in the case, added Sirajul.

On Monday, pro-BNP lawyers brought put a black flag procession in the court premises. As police barred them, they attacked the cop, leaving a constable, Mustafijur Rahman, injured.
