THAKURGAON: Law enforcers detained Baliadangi upazila unit Jamaat-e-Islami Nayeb-e-Ameer Morshedur Rahman on Friday evening.

Officer-in-Charge of Baliadangi Thana Aminul Islam told banglanews that the Jamaat leader was detained from Laheri Hat area of the upazila.

He was detained fearing that he would direct sabotage and violent activities, he added.
