NARAYANGANJ: At least four pedestrians were injured when blockade and hartal supporters exploded hand-made bombs targeting on-duty police in Deubhog area of the city on Tuesday night.

Witnesses said prior to the attack on police, blockaders blasted a pair of hand-made bombs that created panic in the area. On information, lawpersons rushed to the spot and began patrolling there.

Around 7:30am, pickets threw bomb targeting on-duty policemen. As the bombs missed the target it hurt four pedestrians there.

Narayanganj Sadar Model Thana Inspector (investigation) confirmed the matter to banglanews.
