DHAKA: A Dhaka court placed BNP’s two former lawmakers Ashraf Uddin Nizam and Nazim Uddin Ahmed on a three-day remand in vandalism and torching cases.

Metropolitan Magistrate M Tasruzzaman passed the order after the hearing on Wednesday, in response to a remand plea by Motijheel Thana Sub-Inspector (SI) Mofizur Rahman.

Earlier on February 4, a team of Detective Branch (DB) arrested the BNP leaders when they went in Motijheel area to meet Kader Siddiqui.
