CHITTAGONG: Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) personnel detained a local Jamaat-e-Islami leader and seized four cocktails and five petrol bombs from him at Gola Majar area under Chandgaon Thana of the port city Monday night.

The detainee was identified as M Imran Prakas Mithu, a local leader and son of one Hamidul Haq, hailed from the area.

BGB-28 Battalion deputy commander Major Tanvir Mahmud told banglanews that they handed over Imran to Chandgaon Thana police.
