DHAKA: Opposition BNP’s standing committee member Khondakar Mosharaff Hossain Friday alleged that countrymen have started crying out in agony for the government’s misrule.

“Because of government, the price hike of essential commodities is yet to be controlled and people’s sufferings from utility crises mounted,” she said addressing a brief meeting before an iftar party hosted by the Doctors Association of Bangladesh (DAB) at Eskaton Ladies Club.

“The government is plotting against the Zia family to cover up their failures,” he added.

BNP Treasurer Mizanur Rahman Sinha and DAB secretary-general Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain, among others, attended the party with DAB president Dr. Azizul Haque in the chair.
