CHANDPUR: Foreign Minister Dr Dipu Moni Sunday said the government would tackle the opposition’s political programme politically and their ‘subversive activities’ through administrative action.
“There is no issue for movement. But, if the opposition tries to create issue, then country`s people will give a reply to them. Or if they create anarchy, then administrative action will be taken to ensure law and order,” she said.
The foreign minister spoke of the two-pronged strategy of tackling the opposition, which is waging an anti-government movement, while talking to journalists at the district Circuit House Auditorium.
In a change of gear, however, the minister assured the opposition leaders that the government would not take any “illegal step” against them.
Earlier, the Foreign Minister inaugurated a saplings distribution programme at the District Forest Division.
