Juba League leader held for attack on recruitment test in Pabna

PABNA: A youth leader of the ruling party was arrested Saturday on charge of attack on recruitment test for different posts of class-three employees in the local administration.

The arrested person, Raihan alias Torikul, 28, is secretary of cultural and publication affairs of the district Juba League.
 
He was run in from in front of the district Awami League office at around 2 pm, police said.     

On Friday, a case was filed on behalf of the district administration under the speedy trial tribunal law.

Pabna Sadar thana Assistant Sub-Inspector Alea Khatun told banglanews that he was arrested on charge of “obstructing government duties, including the foiling of the recruitment test by launching attack on two examination centres”.

Recruitment test for different posts of class-three employees in the administration Friday was foiled following attacks allegedly by some activists of Chhatra League and Juba League on the DC office and on two examination centers
