SYLHET: 16 Shibir leaders and activists were sued on charge of chopping Sylhet MC College unit Chhatra League leader Mustafizur Rob with Katwali Thana in the city on Tuesday night.

Of accused, nine were named. Those include former Chhatra Shibir president of Sylhet MC College Yasin Khan.

Confirming the matter, Officer-in-Charge of Katwali Thana Ahmed Nasir Uddin told banglanews that they were trying to nab the accused.

On Sunday evening, Mustafizur lost one of his fingers after Shibir leaders and activists had chopped him indiscriminately.
