Fakhrul urges BNP men for movement

DHAKA: Opposition BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on Wednesday urged leaders and activists of the party to take preparations for stern movements in the streets.

The senior leader of party came up with the urge while addressing a discussion meeting held at Diploma Engineers Institute auditorium.

Swechhasebok Dal organized the discussion meeting marking the 6th jail release day of BNP’s Senior Vice Chairperson Tarique Rahman.

The spokesperson for the party said, “The government has tenure of few more weeks only and we have to occupy streets. The government has to be compelled to meet our demands through the stern movements.”

Swechchasebak Dal President Habib-un-Nabi Khan Sohel in the chair, the programme was also addressed, among others, by Vice-president Monir Hossain and general secretary Mir Sarafat Ali Sapu.
