DHAKA: BNP acting Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir claimed that Dr Muhammed Yunus is molested by government revenge.  

A statement singed by BNP office secretary Ruhul Kabir Rizvi made the disclosure of Mirza Fakhrul’s remark on Wednesday.

Mirza Fakhrul said: “Government repressed Dr Yunus and Grameen Bank by issuing several unlawful actions against only Nobel laureate institution and person.”     

He also criticized position of government as anti-prosperity and irresponsible.

The opposition leader also urged government to stand down from the decision of taking legal action against Dr Yunus.
