DHAKA: BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia will be taken to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) from Dhaka Central Jail intersection for her treatment.

Tight security measures have been taken in central jail and its neighboring areas, said different sources on Saturday (April 7).

Areas of city’s central jail, old Dhaka, Alia madrasa, and its surroundings have been taken under surveillance, as noticed in the morning. Vehicular movements have been lessened. But, atmosphere in central jail area is still normal.

However, it was not confirmed when she would be taken to BSMMU.
