DHAKA: Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader preferred the Moha Jote (grand alliance) allies to act as ‘strong’ opposition in parliament so that it can held ‘constructive sessions’.
“I think, it will be better for Moha Jote allies to be the opposition,” he said.
“It will be better to- us, them (allies) and the government, if the Moha Jote allies remain as the opposition” he added.
Quader, also the minister for road transport & bridges, was talking to the reporters while inspecting the venue for Awami League’s victory rally on Suhrawardy Udyan.
In replying a question, he said Moha Jote is Awami League’s ‘political strategic’ alliance and the 14-party is the ‘idealistic’ one.
“We have no sort of strain with the partners of 14-party alliance. If had any, it will be resolved through discussion with the partners,” he added.
