DHAKA: Ailing Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader on Saturday (April 13) conveyed his greetings to the people of the country on occasion of Pahela Baishakh.

Obaidul Quader, the minister for road transport & bridges, who is now in Singapore for treatment, issued a greeting message, on the eve of Bangla New Year. 

Obaidul Quader underwent a bypass surgery at Mount Elizabeth Hospital on March 20.

However, Bangla New Year 1426 will be welcomed through wide festivity programs across the country on Sunday (April 14).
