DHAKA: Bangladesh Chhatra Union has formed its new 41-member central committee in its 39th council held in the capital.

Mehedi Hasan Nobel was made the president to the committee and Anik Roy the general secretary.

The information was revealed on Monday (April 29) in a press release of the organization.

The announcement came on day after its four-day 39th National Council that began on April 25.

The vice-presidents of the newly elected central committee are - Deepak Shil, Md Faizullah, Jahur Lal Roy, Miftah al-Ihsan, Ashjadul Borhan (Mymensingh division), Avijit Barua (Chattogram Division), Nadim Mahmud, Abdul Halim Babu. 

Sumaiya Setu, Rajiv Raj Das and Ariful Islam Anik were made Assistant General Secretaries while Joy Raj was made treasurer.
