FENI: ABM Taleb Ali, former MP of Feni-3 Constituency, passed away on Tuesday (May 7). 

He breathed his last at his Nazir Road residence in the district town in the morning.

His first namaz-e-janaza is scheduled to be held at Mizan ground in Feni around 2pm, second namaz-e-janaza at Bishnupur High School ground in Sonagazi at 4pm.

He will be buried at his family graveyard at 5:00 pm after the third namaz-e-janaza at Char Gopalgaon village under Char Majlishpur union in the upazila.

ABM Taleb Ali was elected member of the East Pakistan Provincial Assembly in the 1970 election. He was also elected parliamentarian in 1973, 1979.

He was the former General Secretary and President of Feni District Awami League and was an organizer of the liberation war in 1971.
