DHAKA: BNP standing committee member Barrister Moudud Ahmed, who has been admitted to Apollo Hospitals since May 5 after he fell sick, was taken to Singapore for better treatment.

He along with his wife Hasna Moudud left Dhaka for Singapore by a regular flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines around 8:30am on Thursday (May 9). 

Mominur Rahman Sujon, personal assistant of Moudud told Banglanews that Moudud Ahmad will take treatment under supervision of Professor Dr Charles Tan of Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore. 

Hasna Moudud asked people of the country to pray for quick recovery of Barrister Moudud.

Barrister Moudud has been hospitalized after he fell sick at the Supreme Court on Sunday noon (May 5). Since then he had been undergoing treatment at Coronary Care Unit (CCU) of the hospital."
