DHAKA: BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir is returning here Thursday (May 23) evening by a regular flight after undergoing treatment in Bangkok.

He has called a press briefing at BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia's Gulshan Office to be held at 11am Friday (May 24).

Shairul Kabir Khan, press wing member to Khaleda Zia, confirmed the matter to Banglanews Thursday.

The secretary general will address the press briefing in presence of the standing committee members, he said. 

Shairul added that Mirza Fakhrul will brief about current political condition.

However, Mirza Fakhrul Islam flew to the Thai capital for treatment, accompanying his wife, on May 15.
