DHAKA: BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said those who are occupying the government, weren't elected by the people of Bangladesh.
They are holding the power using muscle, he added.
Mirza Fakhrul was addressing an iftar party and discussion arranged by Nagorik Oikya, at Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) auditorium Saturday (May 25).
"Awami League has ruined Bangladesh's constitution in a very planned manner since coming to power. Has snatched people's all of the basic rights," he added.
Mirza Fakhrul further said that ruling party has ruined all the democratic institutions of the country.
