Mozammel Haque to join Modi's swearing-in ceremony

DHAKA: Minister of Liberation War Affairs AKM Mozammel Haque will join the oath-taking ceremony of Narendra Modi as Prime Minister of India for the second term. 

The oath ceremony will be held on Thursday (May 30).

Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen made the disclosure at a press conference on Sunday (May 26th) at the Foreign Ministry about Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's visit to Japan, Saudi Arabia and Finland. 

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina can not attend Narendra Modi's swearing-in ceremony as Indian Prime Minister on May 30 because she will be in Japan during this time. 

Besides, speaker Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury has also a pre-scheduled program. As senior minister, Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Haque will join the swearing-in ceremony of Narendra Modi.

State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shahriar Alam and Foreign Secretary M Shahidul Haque were also present.
